Helping to find the Keystone to your Resilience and Health

Sheena Lee Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

I enjoy working with a wide variety of individuals from age 12 and up

As a midwife, I saw people discover they had more strength than they thought they had, as well as, find new perspectives and connections to themselves and others. The process is similar to the inward journey that counselling invites us to walk.

My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative approach. I aim to create a safe and compassionate space, where you will feel seen and heard, a place where you will find and/or nurture your own inner strength and resilience.

I honour the courage it can take to reach out for support and will meet you wherever you are in your journey.

  • Education

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Counsellors, gaining a Masters of Art in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and a Bachelors of Midwifery from New Zealand. I worked as a Registered Midwife in both New Zealand and BC for over a decade, and have been counselling for the past two years.

  • Continuing Education

Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis- Level 2

OEI- Observed and Experiential Integration Level 1

TRIP- Trauma Regulation and Integration Process Level 1

    Occupationally Aware Healthcare Provider

What amazes me is the array of people I get to have conversations with each day. From teenagers who are trying to figure out where they fit in the world, to first responders prioritizing their mental health so they can remain in their chosen careers. I work with survivors of sexual abuse, and people who are struggling with anxiety or just feel stuck in their lives.

I cannot say enough how much of an honour I feel to have people feel safe enough to open up and share with me. I get to see the strength and resilience in each and every person I meet, which gives me a wonderful perspective on my own life.

With gratitude, thank you all.
